This sub-catchment is situated on the north bound of the catchment. This zone comprises of residential areas of Taman Melewar, Gombak Setia, Taman Desa Gombak and Taman Koperasi Polis.

High density residential and commercial area.

This sub-catchment comprises the relatively established developments of Wangsa Maju, Wardieburn Camp, Taman Sri Rampai, Taman Setapak, Setiawangsa and Air Panas area.

Mixed development areas consist of residential, commercial, recreational and light industrial area.

This sub-catchment comprises of residential and light industrial area of Lembah Keramat, Taman Keramat, Taman Melawati, Ukay Perdana and Wangsa Ukay.

The National Sewerage Project 2  consists of the upgrading of existing Pantai Sewage Treatment Plant. This project is known as the Pantai 2 Sewage Treatment Plant Project.

The project involves the decommissioning  of the existing aerated lagoons of capacity  560,000 PE by  dewatering, desludging and excavation for the construction of a new underground sewage treatment plant with capacity of 1,423,000 PE on a site of 17 ha.

The underground treatment plant  will be covered with a 1-2m layer of earth. The reclaimed above ground area will be utilised for the construction of structures including administration center and supporting services such as power plants, biogas generation building, sludge treatment plant, etc and also the construction of sports, recreation and public parks facilities.

Beijing Enterprise Water Group LTD (BEWG) is the Design  and Build Contractor for the project.  EEC Sdn Bhd is the consultant for Civil and Structural works and lead consultant for the project.
