The proposed privatised South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) commences from the existing cloverleaf interchange at UNITEN and terminates at Pulau Indah.

The total length of SKVE is approximately 53km.

Lead Engineering Consultant for the design of a 24.5 km dual  2-lane and dual 3-lane  elevated expressway Shara-e-Faisalf from Jinnah Bridge, Native Jetty to Quaidabad in the city of Karachi, Pakistan  The project includes 6 interchanges at various locations along the expressway, toll  plazas, bridges and all associated facilities and M and E works.

The project is being designed and constructed by IJM Corporation Berhad who will also operate and maintain the expressway under a form of BOT arrangement with the City District Government for 20 years.

The works for the expressway comprise widening and upgrading the existing dual 2 and dual 3 lane highway at grade and provision of an elevated roadway with appropriate connections at major road intersections

The construction of the new Low Cost Carrier Terminal, or KLIA2, is being implemented by Malaysia Airport Holding Berhad (MAHB) to replace the temporary LCCT which has exceeded its capacity. EEC was appointed as the consulting engineers for the design and construction supervision of Aircraft Parking Apron under package name of TB02. The works covering an area of 105 Ha under  EEC's professional services are as follows :

  • 7.85 km of taxiways and taxilanes with a total pavement area of  51.1 Ha.
  • 0.8 km of airside service road
  • 58 nos of Code C aircraft apron and  18 nos of Code E and MARS apron with a total pavement area of 33.4 Ha.
  • 14km of Tertiary  drains
  • 1 km of Secondary drains
  • 10 Nos. of Oil water separators.
  • The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) road, baggage handling and  M&E tunnels and associated approach ramps linking  the Main Terminal Building and Satellite Building over a distance of 300m.
